Statcourt Terms of Use
These Terms govern use of Statcourt. By creating or using an account, you agree to them or confirm that you have appropriate permission to do so.
1. The service
Statcourt helps private basketball teams manage rosters, record games and view statistics. It is designed to be suitable for a broad audience and uses the same privacy-conscious experience for everyone. We do not require age or date of birth.
2. Accounts and teams
You must provide a working email address, protect your login details and use the service lawfully. A subscribed account may belong to up to five teams in total. Team Owners control membership, create and manage roster players, and approve roster-profile change requests. Each team member may directly link their account to one available roster player and may unlink it later.
3. Roster information and permission
A Team Owner who adds a person’s name, optional photograph or basketball data confirms they have appropriate authority or permission to do so. This applies to every roster entry; Statcourt does not ask an Owner to identify anyone’s age. Real names may be used, while nicknames or initials remain permitted when preferred. Photos are optional.
4. Player links
A team member may request to link their account to one roster player on each team. The Owner must approve the link. A linked member may change that player’s photo and request name or jersey-number changes. The Owner can approve, deny or override those changes. A link does not transfer team ownership or roster administration rights.
5. Subscriptions
Statcourt is offered through a monthly subscription. The current price and billing terms will be shown clearly before purchase. Stripe processes payments. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period unless applicable law requires otherwise. Complimentary access may be granted or revoked separately and has no cash value.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, access another person’s account, upload unlawful or inappropriate material, harass others, interfere with security, or use team information outside the purpose for which it was provided. Owners may remove members or inappropriate photos. Statcourt may suspend access needed to protect users, teams or the service.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of content you provide. You give Statcourt the limited permission needed to host, process, display and back up that content for the service. Team statistics and box scores may include roster players who do not have Statcourt accounts.
8. Availability and liability
We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, Statcourt is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss.
9. Ending use and changes
You can cancel a paid subscription through the billing portal and can request account deletion in Settings. We may update these Terms and will ask you to accept a new version when a material update requires it. These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
