Statcourt Privacy Policy
This Policy explains how Statcourt handles personal information. Statcourt uses one privacy-conscious design for all users and does not ask for age or date of birth.
Information we handle
We handle account email addresses and profile names; team membership and roles; roster names or nicknames, optional photos and jersey details; game statistics, shot charts and related basketball records; support and consent records; and subscription status. When Voice Scoring is used, audio is sent for live transcription and the resulting commands or transcript fragments may be processed with game records.
Why we use it
We use this information to authenticate accounts, operate private teams, record and calculate statistics, provide claimed-player dashboards, process subscriptions, prevent misuse, support users and meet legal obligations. We do not use targeted advertising, public player discovery or location tracking.
Team Owners and roster information
Team Owners decide what roster information to add and must have appropriate authority or permission to provide it. This rule applies to everyone; Statcourt does not ask whether a roster player is a minor. Names may be real names, nicknames or initials, and photos are optional.
Who receives information
Approved members of a private team can see that team’s roster, game records and team statistics. A member may directly link their account to one available roster player; the linked personal dashboard is then available to that member. We use service providers including Supabase for authentication and data hosting, Stripe for subscriptions, and Deepgram when Voice Scoring is used. They process information to provide those services.
Storage, security and retention
We use access controls and database rules to restrict team information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We keep information while an account or team needs it and as required for security, billing, dispute resolution or law. Historical game snapshots may remain after a roster profile changes so completed box scores remain accurate.
Your choices
You can update your account profile, choose not to add a photo, ask a Team Owner to correct roster details, leave teams you do not own, cancel a subscription and request account deletion in Settings. An Owner can remove members and roster content. You may contact Statcourt to request access to or correction of personal information, or to make a privacy complaint.
Changes and contact
We may update this Policy as the service changes. Material changes may require a new acknowledgement. Privacy questions and complaints can be sent to statcourtassistance@gmail.com.
